Last night's event was a huge success, thanks to all who attended! We had one hour of Juel Resistance, and one hour of Dexter Ihnen - both of whom donated their time and talent for Relay For Life. With everyone's help, we managed to raise L$28,734!  I cannot thank you enough, all who donated, danced, bought something, bid on something, or whatever. Your presence made it a success. Special thanks to my gallery partner, Music Hyun who had the vision to start this gallery. To Barbara Nicholls for being a great life partner and excellent event host! To PeeWee for her mad building skills. To Montana for her RFL leadership and organizaion. And to Juel and Dexter for their talent and generousity. I am grateful to you all. (On a side note - one week ago, the space where the gallery sits was an empty lot. This gallery and event was concieved, built, and organized in about one week!) |

Several weeks ago, after some encouragement from my lovely wife, I entered a model search competition run by DC Photography and KLP Modeling Agency. Yesterday I discovered I was one of 10 finalists (6 ladies and 4 guys) and will participate in a runway show on (date to be determined). Four winners will be chosen and there are prizes (Lindens, gift cards, contracts, etc). |

by SLNN writer, Therese Carfagno - This Sunday will see the opening of *p_OO_f* gallery, owned by Music Hyun and GM Nikolaidis. Juel Resistance will be playing her acoustic blues live, followed by Dexter Ihnen and his spunkyfunkylicious songs. The evening will be rounded off with an auction of two art pieces for the Relay For Life. It starts at 4 p.m.  |
